HEI Civil is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman with a crew. Qualified individuals will also have excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Looking for an established Utility Crew:
· Foreman (Working Foreman so he/she can take one of the below positions)
· Mainline Hoe
· Backfill Hoe
· Pipelayer x2
· Topman
· Loader
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and lead all aspects of a project, including but not limited to utility installation.
· Communicate with employees, managers, subs, HR, and all other team members
· Prioritize safety above all else by complying with OSHA and environmental safety standards
· Complete daily job site inspections and JHAs, equipment reports, confined space entry, and trenching reports
· Work independently and with fellow supervisors
· Contribute knowledge and ideas to increase productivity
· Continue learning and strengthening skills
· Lead and mentor all employees to the best of your ability
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Good organization skills
· High school diploma or GED (preferred)
· 10-30 hour OSHA training (preferred)
· 5+ years of supervisory background (utilities in specific or closely related)
· Strong/effective communication skills and ability to develop client relationships
· Ability to bring a crew with him/her
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or GED (Bachelors Preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience with Civil and/or Site Development Construction.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
• Prolonged periods of sitting
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Office-based work with varying temperatures.
• Occasional travel to jobsites with fluctuations in weather.
Job Type: Exempt, Full-time
Salary: Based on Experience
